Sniff... just read Noell's comment... I won't hate you, but I do expect at least one phone call during the show so I can hear the boys... sigh... sniff... sigh... But, on the bright side, I do get to go to Margert's b-day party and I've never been to one of those and I've been to almost 10 97s shows... oh, and if you see a super cute shirt I don't have, I can totally pay you back... and if you want to kdinap Rhett and bring him back too that would probably help ease the pain...

People should not call you at 4am. It just shouldn't happen. Especially when they're calling a worrywort like me who will obsess that someone's dead or someone was casing the house and soon I'll be dead. Really, people should just know better.

Stupid flashy lights... i never, ever, ever want to be a model - not that that was really an option, but just in case, - I never, ever, EVER want to have a job where I'm constantly around flashing lights.

Didn't realize that the Katherine who was the first wife of King Henry VIII was married first to his brother Arther who died at the age of 15... King Henry became engaged to her at the age of 11. Weirdness... Look what you can learn when you watch tv.

Trying to alphabetize my books... I keep putting the books in piles and trollbuggie comes along and messes those piles up. What a cute little monster.
Had lots of fun with Beth and Laura - we did a heck of a lot of laying around. That was nice. Went to a concert - saw a bit of Lifehouse and Better Than Ezra. Better Than Ezra were awful - the lead singer was flat - very flat. Lifehouse was nice, though.
Urrg, books call. Must arrange.

Mmmmm... just watch the pilot of Roswell. Used to be such a damn good show and then IT happened. But wow - I want a hot alien to come heal me after I've been shot by a stray bullet in my parent's alienthemed restaurant.
Another Greek quiz another perfect score. Don't know if that'll be the case next week - this new stuff is actually confusing me a bit.
May be some dancing tonight, still not sure. What kind I don't know either. I need to find some energy before I go anywhere.
Hmmm believe that's all for now. Not very exciting. Beth and Laura are in town and we're doing breakfast with Lindsey Wade tomorrow morning. That should be nice.

Soo, sooo, soooooo sleepy. I love cats, really do, and Ollie, supercute....but. I can't wait for Kates to come back home. The poor kitten cries at night, she's lonely, and I can't let her in my room. However, sometimes she manages to get in anyway and so I've got residual sneezy in the middle of the night - not enough to make me go "oh, take meds" but to keep me from having good REM sleep. That combined with the crying makes Amy a very tired girl.
Okay, love my liason. We get to do our annual consultation via phone. YAY Isabel YAY!

It's sinfully amusing watching Ollie try to get the bugs on the other side of the glass door. She keeps jumping up and slamming into the door. Guess I could shut the door or turn off the porch light. No, too amusing.

Okay, I am a sad sad person... I went to a link that's in the article my last post linked to. It's a website for this dancer who something or other is doing god's work via dancing.. anyway, there are these message boards and I thought it would be a kick to read about this vocational call and well, one thing lead to another and I have registed with the site and am currently composing a post explaining to people that the New King James Version is in fact not the "closest" to the original Hebrew or Greek and that God has not always been "old fashioned." I am so so sad...

So sleepy but feeling the need to do a little post... much laziness this weekend, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Teri made fantastic pancakes this morning, truly amazing! I think Teri should come over and make them for me every morning. Had a nice Mimosa Saturday with this week's special guest star Rachel Ellis. Her hubby is starting on Tues (missed a bit of Greek school but that's all good). Next week we have Lindsey Wade and then someone one the 19th... can't remember who at this moment. Of course. most exciting news, Beth and her friend Laura Schlirf are coming to visit next weekend.. and of course, Noell isn't here. That'll be lots of fun. Hmmm... I do believe my bed may actually be calling my name. Yes, yes it is. night all.

I have 7 words for you: "My dog is of the homosexual persuasion."
Ah, yes, Legally Blond 2 - the Casablanca of our time. More fun mindless fluff. Teri says it's okay, though. Thanks to our 7 hour Jane Austen movie marathon (consisting of P&P and Emma) we''ve got 4 hours more of intelligent films than other. So we should be alright.
4th of July coming up. Not really sure how I feel about that right now, what with our Founding Fathers rolling in their graves I'm sure. Who needs the Bill of Rights anyway though, right? Seriously, how do we go about celebrating our Independence when we're oppressing other people left and right? It's a peculiar matter.

So Teri says I'm not allowed to sell my plasma or do egg harvesting for some cash... wonder how she'd feel about medical experiments... I hear those can pay fairly well.
Not really sure how the school thinks I'm going to make it when they tell me "Hey, you can have federal work study!" and then later add "well, only if other people don't get their hours in." Maybe I should start a rumor that if you do so many federal work study hours they take away all your finanical aid. That can't be much more wrong than prostitution, right?
Bitterness abounds.

Sigh... very depressed right now. The Old 97s are playing in Dallas on the 8th of August and I won't be attending the show... why do I have to live in Atlanta?!? Okay, generally I enjoy living in Atlanta but not today... I guess a better question would be why am I so afraid to fly. I could easily get on a plane and go - well potentially easily, but I'm too much of a baby to even think about it. Grr argh.
Greek is going well so far - I think Kates may kill me though. Me thinks I'll have to find something to occupy my time during class so I don't drive the girl crazy. I'm a big fan of not driving my roomie bonkers - especially since my other roomie has abandoned us. Okay, gone home for 6 weeks, but that sounds an awful lot like abandonment to me.
Sigh. Stupid non-floo-powder-having universe. Generally I like it but there are some things - such as the existance of floo powder (I'm not even asking for portkeys here folks) that would make it so much better.
Oh and working toilets... just saying.
